Digging it out didn’t go to plan for me ahead of footings needing to go in on the Monday. I made some enquiries late on the weekend and Matt came straight back to me with a reasonable price, then when asked if he could do it literally the same day - a Sunday none the less, he gave up his day off to help me out with no complaints. Friendly guy, great service, great job done, would highly recommend him! You don’t ever get service like that any more!

Luckily he had a hand held grinder as  only access was through my house.  Very speedy and cost effective and tidied up after job. Only downside was filled hole with layers of soil and the sawdust which is biodegradable and therefore beginning to rot down and soil level dropping - would be fine except I want to lay patio on top so would not do that next time.
